Taste of Charleston

October 4, 2010 | Leave a Comment

The Taste of Charleston is a huge event for locals and tourists alike. It’s a great way to socialize with your neighbors, meet some great people and sample all of Charleston’s great food. More than 50 of Charleston’s finest restaurants will participate by offering the public a “taste” of their culinary specialties, including shrimp & grits, beef kabobs, Greek chicken, bread pudding, seafood, decadent desserts and much more. The event also includes the legendary “Waiter’s Wine Race,” cooking demonstrations, the “Best of the Taste,” East Coast Party Band on the main stage and a Kids Corner. The two new events, “Taste” Iron Chef Competition, and Taste of the Arts, take place in downtown Charleston.
